Philosophy
Creativity for humans in a busy world.
Modern Makers Collective offers curative Waldorf inspired fiber arts and herbal classes, workshops and events which include practical arts such as knitting, crochet, sewing, weaving, natural dyes, herbal medicine making and more. Our mission is to bring humans together to connect with our hands, hearts, and the natural world through ancestral arts. To feel a sense of belonging to a community. To develop our senses for beauty and feel empowered with the strength and creativity of our hands.
Teaching Artist
Handwork teacher, fiber artist, designer, maker, mother and lover of beauty and truth. She combines her creative skills and educational background in Waldorf education to facilitate classes, workshops and events.
Bianca is a trained Waldorf handwork teacher located in La Mesa, CA. She has experience teaching children and adults in both classroom settings, small groups, workshops and 1:1. Some of her skills include knitting, crochet, weaving, embroidery, sewing, working with herbs and botanical dyes.
